Continue your journey towards fluency or professional development today by enrolling in ASL 202! Enhance your expressive signing skills with this course, designed to elevate your ASL proficiency. Featuring targeted, interactive modules, this program focuses on crucial topics to improve both receptive and expressive signing abilities. Participants will deepen their understanding of ASL grammar, structure, and terminology, empowering them to communicate more effectively. Join us and take your signing to the next level! The duration of the course is approximately 13-15 weeks and requires internet access with the ability to stream and upload videos. In addition to the self-paced online learning material, you will also have a personal ASL tutor to provide support and guidance while interacting in ASL during weekly live chats referred to as Language Labs (via Zoom). Language labs sessions usually last 45 to 60 minutes offering participants the opportunity to ask questions and learn and practice the skills presented within each weekly module. Weekly assignments and instructor feedback are designed to help you practice, improve and reinforce learning. The course can also be purchased without weekly Language Labs and feedback; however, a private session can be purchased at any time. A certificate of completion awarded at the end of the course certifies that you have successfully finished the course, with a language proficiency of at least 70%, signifying that you have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills within the program and qualifies you to register for ASL 301. Payment Options: Cost of the course with language labs is currently $450 full payment OR Registration fee + recurring weekly payments (13-weeks) OR if studying independently without weekly instructor feedback or language labs. NOTE: to be awarded a certificate of completion for the course, a language proficiency evaluation is required and can be scheduled at your convenience.
